This is a section I filmed, edited, and co-directed with Daytona (@daytonahs on instagram) in Philly.
Daytona not only raps but also runs the non-profit organization, "Hood Savior Inc."  This organization not only helps provide free food and school supplies to Philadelphia kids but also runs camps and events to help bring together the communuty and inspire the youth.

Filmed by Chase Epstein from @daytodaystudios and @daytodaychase.  I added the visual effects including:
-volumetric fog
-wire glow
-light ray effects
-electricity arcs
-aperture closing eyes
-color grading

The following commercial was about a 2 hour shoot out in front of Wise Ape Tea in Haddonfield, NJ with music by Vassa & Leone.  Joe, Harry, and myself planned out the concept and basic shot layout together over a few weeks then on the day I took over principle photography and directing.  Post production was entirely on me and for a list of everything I did check below the video.

I've kept a hobby of creating music over the years just for myself and my friends to hear.  Recently however I decided to release the bulk of it to streaming services for the masses to enjoy as well.  

I was hired to create a series of animated motion graphics advertisements to showcase Wise Ape Tea's new Holiday Bundle packs.  I took all the photographs, edited them, masked, animated, and essentially created all but the music.  

October 28th, 2019:  I had just gotten my Sony A7 III camera and my Mom was on vacation for the week; leaving me with her Honda Civic.  Halloween was in 4 days and I wanted to make a special video to celebrate.  What I decided to do was make a song and then an accompanying video.  This is what I managed in 4 days:

Coding and I have always had an "on again, off again" relationship.  Recently, I got to learning a new language for fun: python 3.8.  

If you don't know, Python is an amazingly easy programming language to learn.  However, the drawback of it's ease-of-use is it's speed of execution.  Comparative programming languages such as java have been known to perform over 25x faster than python.
This is because java is compiled so it runs very statically, whereas python is interpreting itself as it runs.  This makes python a slower, but more dynamic language.   That mixed with how quick python apps are to write makes python an ideal language for small actions and anything where light latency isn't an issue.

All that being said, I used this code to try to make a role laying game!

-set a fixed number of randomly generated characters
-npcs now have family members from same hometowns
-npc locations are affected by type and relations
-you can travel to 7 randomly generated towns

9/10/20:
-if you type "die" you die
-improved pre-relocation of generated characters according to
type and family.
-227 unique dialogue options.
-Dialogue options determined by player character intelligence and
 charisma.

9/11/20:
-added extra player-based text modifications
-cleaned up talk function.

9/12/20:

-if you talk to a character who doesn't like you more than 3 times,
 they attack you.
-if you talk to a character who likes you more than 3 times, they run out of
 things to say.
-Fixed talk dialogue option that breaks and ends program

This commercial was made to advertise a new flavor from Smoothie King in Marlton.   It utilizes motion graphics tracked into the 3d environment of the store along with some subtle black and white effects masked into the background to really make the smoothie color pop!

A little exploration of a new brewery in Mt. Laurel, NJ.  I filmed and edited this to showcase the location, the beer, and the 6-drink flight that they offer.  

A live musical recording done for Tapedrop.com.  We filmed this on a two camera set-up live and all of the color and editing work was done by me.

I filmed my colleague train some extreme martial arts one night and decided to try my hand at creating a vlog.  No major effects, just simple narrative editing of one man's night of trials and tribulations while training.

An advertisement for a Wise Ape Tea flavor I worked on.  I helped conceptually on this but my primary job was handling the effects, most notably all of the animated lines and auras.  Additionally, the Wise Ape logo on the mug was added in post due to us not having a Wise Ape mug at the time and the eyes of the gorilla have been replaced and hand tracked in during key shots last minute.   Also I was the guy in the monkey costume.  All in a day's work I suppose.

Oh a simpler time.  This commercial is for a kickboxing / karate studio that I work for.  I shot this on my iphone.
